I feel this. I think pet ownership already has turned into worship for many pet owners. People let their pets walk all over them while simultaneously kissing the ground they walk on. Making Instagram accounts, letting them sleep on/in their beds, not disciplining them, not wanting human kids cause “muh fur baby!”..Sometimes I wonder if theres some kind of parasite in people that make them anthropomorphize their pets so much, like the toxoplasmosis parasite or some shit. Idk, I have two dogs and I treat them as such.
