Our language is incredible, root meanings, doublespeak, word creation etc. But when speaking this language there are often times where certain words are difficult to pronounce. Words that are difficult to pronounce are difficult to remember. I believe this greatly limits our abilities to communicate and have real discussions.
This mainly applies to the sciences. Particularly chemistry. I know I probably sound like an idiot or that I'm too lazy to expand my vocabulary. That is true to an extent and this is analogous to how children can't physically enunciate the names of dinosaurs. I'm only complaining now because it seems to me that cryptic language inhibits our abilities to warn people about this vax.
It seems to me that the people who articulate things simply are labeled stupid while people who speak cryptically are assumed to be experts, this world is backwards.
On the contrary, English was formed from Germanic derivative languages meeting Norman French and the complicated spelling, grammar, and phonetics never stopped YET despite the complexities, the language is ubiquitous, the culture is generally intellectual relatively speaking, and the history of post Norman invasion England has been arguably the most globally impactful since the Roman Empire.
