A lot of "conservatives" get wrapped up in the news cycle just like the libs, and they'll follow all the same talking points.

Break out of the news cycle. Stop letting the "news" control your life and your outlook. Realize that what's happening in your town and your personal life is much more relevant than what's happening across the horizon, and also know that the media lies about everything.

I'm not saying that people should be ignorant of the world around them, but too many people jump when the news says "jump".
