Most of those that die during this scenario are not going to die from hunger. Those hurt the most will be the most vulnerable of our society.
Most of the people reading this will have no experience with violence perpetrated by hunger. When stores are empty, hungry people know that houses have food.
"Build a bunker" like, we would if we would be able to, able to afford, to even be able to buy a property... That's like saying obese people that if they do abs exercises without proper meal plan, while eating the same nasty food, that they'll have abs. We, normal citizens can't afford such a thing and we don't have the same material and resources as the evil bastards do, so whatever bunker you make, they can destroy it, while having the best one themselves.
