It's concerning but to me skeptical for a minute they also have a requirement to protect the information of people and we ask know they're a constant target of scanners 🤷♂️ Maybe it's lacking some alternative verification process
Yeah, I understand. They are faced with all sorts of criminal activity. And on the Internet, 'no one knows you're a dog' as the famous cartoon once said.
I note that the trend now is for such things as crypto to move to 2FA, and regular banks online access is going to 2FA too. Everything requiring high security. I guess it is the future. But still it is more lockdown, and we are moving to a future of lockdowns.

There's got to be a better way. Distributed identify verification for instance where there are private and shared secrets.
