Contrarian to all of the English bible translations, Jesus died on a Wednesday and resurrected on the first Sabbath (Saturday).
All the Greek texts and even the latin texts (Vulgata), on which all the English translations are based, clearly state, that Jesus did ressurect on the first of Sabbath. So Eastern Sunday is fiction or fake, whatever you prefer. Even KJV of 1611 is false, as it translates Mark 16;9 : “Now when Jesus was risen early, the first day of the weeke, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seuen deuils.” All the Greek originals say, that Jesus was risen on the first Saturday: Aναστας δε πρωι πρωτη σαββατου εφανη πρωτον Μαρια.. Would make sense in that poetic justice sort of way in that one of the first things the Pharisees tried to persecute him over was that he was performing miracles on the Sabbath.
