A VICTORIAN child aged under 10 has become Australia's youngest person to die with Covid-19.
The Department of Health said the child, who was one of five people who died with coronavirus in the stats on Saturday, also had other "serious comorbidities". It did not specify the childs age or the extent of the other conditions.
Previously, the youngest person to die with the virus was a 15-year-old boy from southwest Sydney in August.
