There will be a ten minute section on the news that explains why rolling out an experimental, untested treatment for a flu was not only required, it was a brilliant idea, and all the casualties were for the greater good. Then they will forget all about it. Anyone who brings it up when it leaves the news cycle three days later will be a dangerous right wing conspiracy theorist. In fact, there never was any coercion to take the vaccine. Everyone who took it gave fully informed consent. And if you say otherwise you are a racist bigot.
