Not usually as serious a crime to hurt/kill dogs. Furthermore dog is causing potentially life threatening injury. They broke the peace with the dog.

Isn't the whole point of a non-scheduled/permitted protest to goad some stupid cop into killing someone so that a brutal riot is justified. Oh wait this is Belgium. Or wherever. They people there can't fight back. Better keep being chew toys then.
