Words mean different things to different people. For example, when Michael Jackson says “I’m bad”, he means “I’m cool” but to me bad means negative. However when people speak, I translate what they are saying as it is easy to do for me.
A Communist to me is a power hungry oligarch member who seeks to expand his power by any means necessary. These Commies have a lot of similarities and running Thought Police programs is common with them.
You just defined a fascist.
I'm glad we're having this talk though. Maybe now you realize that fascism and communism are two completely different ideologies.
China is communist in exactly the same way nazi Germany was socialist: They aren't. They're both fascism. Not communism. Not socialism.
They are 2 shades of the same color. Slight differences in the way they oppress the People.
Fascism only existed because of Marxism and Communism. It is the extreme, and often the only known and tried counter to the aforementioned.
The roots of fascism go back to ancient Greece, if not further.
This concept of a ruling group extending power and protection to those it deems worthy, and stripping it from the groups it deems inferior, is a very old one.
A compelling argument could be made for Plato being a fascist.
