Bad movie. Bad matrix movie. A few cool ideas. Girl power ending. And this is coming from somebody tolerant of how the wachowskis want to identify and present themselves.
They actually seemed to be making fun of the left.
The whole premise is that both a man and woman are required to make the Matrix work.
They were expressing fairly traditional values. Even the old school transgenders aren’t down for all this nonbinary stuff. They switched genders because they wanted to be the opposite gender. Not because they believe there’s no gender like these woke kids.
Now there was some transhumanist stuff but that’s to be expected from a cyber punk sci-fi movie that takes place in the future.
I saw it. It was okay. Not offensively bad like the last Jedi.
It's doesn't add anything new and the fight scenes lack weight. There is no real sense of danger.
It really serves to retcon "the one" into both neo and trinity and set up future sequels.
The only thing woke about it IMO was all the gay actors that were in it. I thought the movie was alright (no I didn't pay to watch it if you don't count me paying for internet and usenet services).
I plan on watching it again to see what I missed the first time.
The "girl power" at the end makes sense if you see Neo and Trinity as two halves of one being, like soul-mates.
If you look at the context of when the director became a tranny (after the first movie) and what happened to Keanu (losing his girlfriend and unborn child) then it really doesn't weigh as heavy.
I think there is a lot of humor in it too that most people don't get, like Trinity being called Tiffany & her husband's name is Chad.
If I recall the first Matrix movie didn't get good reviews. People reject the reality of the archontic matrix of our world. I think the directors were punished for revealing so much truth.
I've also seen people talking about it online when it is clear that either they didn't watch the movie or didn't pay good attention. One person was talking about how Morpheus is now a blue-haired girl (totally incorrect).
The top comment here right now says:
It’s a lefty fantasy by two trannies trying to “reclaim” the redpill from the right
Nope, just one tranny directed this. It was not a joint effort like the other movies were.
Only one tranny, the other had nothing to do with it.

It was shockingly not that woke.

i think that would be a great way to make people reflect on the matrix
would dissidence and resistance also be a way to remain imprisoned?
no... walk away from the game entirely
Yea. Muh nigga. The third way. Out of their chessboard

It's a bad movie, the deranged opinions of the wachowskis only make it worse.
