An ex-coworker who is in his early 60's came by my work today to say hi to a few people. He came over to me and we started talking, we had always been happy to talk and shoot the shit.. At around five minutes of talking, he started scowling about how this is the only county in the State that is wearing mask and keeping stores closed. I just walked away saying "see you around [insert name]". Robotically just moves on to the next person to talk to. I was curious if he had made any statements about walking away from him to other coworkers. They said "no"... "You did?" "Yes, he started relaying his nusniffles fear to me." --My coworkers hate that shit too.

... My ass would ask me why I decided to cut&run in the middle of conversation with a cold shut-down. Then again, maybe this is not his first cold shut-down and walk-away?
