In 2016, Donald Trump publicly supported Wikileaks for releasing Hillary Clinton's emails.

In January 2021, a few days before President Trump departed from the White House, he did not pardon Julian Assange. Instead, he pardoned some Rappers after his Daughter and Son-in-Law asked.
