Any yea, somebody here is going to say he deserves it. Whatever. The relative has been there for me when I needed help, and it would be nice to keep him around a while longer.

He should be happy he got vaccinated. He'd probably die if he hadn't.
Well, since he was vaccinated he has had severe joint point. He can't raise his arms above his head anymore, and has trouble walking around about the amount what you'd do going grocery shopping. He crazy regrets it, especially since it didn't keep him for getting covid.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a common side effect of any vaccine. I hope he feels better soon. Once he is over the flu you may want to look into the autoimmune diet to help with the joints.
