Yes, this is why they let it happen. FDR wanted in, but support wasn't there until Pearl Harbor united the country.
Its been documented they had reliable info the attack was coming but did nothing to notify or stop anything...seems almost familiar
It's not just that. They cut the Japanese supply lines so they could get attacked by Japan and go to Europe.
