r/conspiracy generally grew during major happenings, especially where people couldn't discuss the happening freely on other subs. Epstein not killing himself was a big one in recent memory.
The big event that spurred the creation of this place was the 2020 Election fraud, which could not be freely discussed even on r/conspiracy.
So some major & controversial happening could bring more people here. Also people need to realize here is far freer a forum than r/conspiracy is in general.
People are becoming sick of reddit, they are coming here, in dribs and drabs, but they are coming. Someone posted a thread here yesterday from reddit (that eventually got nuked and the OP banned) of the infamous graphic showing the crazy amount of Jewish people working in the MSM. Every comment was positive, 400 upvotes, most acknowledging that reddit is sucking more and more.
Having said all that, many are simply addicted to reddit's interface and various other subs, and since this website still under construction and lacking many features that reddit has, they prefer to stay in the comfort zone.
As to info dump - check our side bar, we have a booklist (with links to every book) which r/conspiracy never had :)
