EDIT: The important thing to take from watching the first couple of minutes of the Tucker Carlson video originally posted is that this is being adopted by Democratic Party in America so they can adopt The China Model and effectively oust the Republican Party.

Where I grew up in Poland all we read was classics of literature (at a difficulty level suitable for age). Rarely any “new” books. Textbooks were purely scientific. Biology textbook describing sex organs, reproduction and contraception. Sociology/political education was all about the constitution, the legal system, governance and democracy in a society.

Not so long ago. Ten years ago actually.
