Prediction: the jury is hung on worries of riots, so the judge declares a mistrial with prejudice, exonerating Kyle Rittenhouse of all crimes charged. This results in nation-wide mayhem.
It's also worth exploring the possibility that @Another-1 is correct, that this is, in fact, a planned operation. I've been rooting for Kyle all along, knowing that the videos show clear self defense... but in the back of my mind I keep thinking about that hand signal he made toward the police. Nobody seems to spend much time talking about that. That was not a random gesture. That looked like a military or spec ops kind of hand signal of some kind.
It's not reasonable to assume that it is him LARPing, because I looked up all manner of commonly known military and police hand signals, and that was not one of them.
Even though everything else seems pretty clear-cut, I can't ignore the one glaring thing that is unexplainable.
What hand signal are you talking about? Got me curious now
At the end of the sequence, I was watching live the night it went down, so I don't know what specific camera/video to look for, but at the end of the sequence of events when he walks toward the police trucks and he is standing in their headlights maybe 150 feet in front of them he put his hand in the air and does some kind of signal where he has two fingers together pointing up and then rotates his wrist/hand facing backwards in a very smooth and intentional manner. The way he moved his hand and wrist was definitely not some form of hands up for the police compliance or pointing at something or anything else, it was definitely some kind of signal.
There is a still shot of this hand signal sequence that is commonly used as one of the meme/hero/supportive photos of Kyle. That photo is from the opposite side as the video that I watched. In the video Kyle is facing toward the left/into the camera slightly, the police trucks are behind and to the left of the camera.
Pretty sure that is a hand signal to assemble or “rally on me”.
