There is a thought from a retired federal prosecutor I follow on twitter, that the FBI raided project veritas due to a rogue employee leaking the documents to a third party news source (National file who published it said they got it from a whistleblower of a media organization that choose not to publish it). The FBI was trying to find who leaked the documents to National File... and if that happened, then this employee very well could have access to other project veritas documents. Just a random thought and new perspective of what is going on.
It's not illegal to do undercover journalism. In fact, this is something actual journalists used to do. These people aren't journalists, they're propagandists.

Is there a link to what the NYT published?
Big deal. Isn't it obvious that PV does that?
Furthermore, why is the NYT so cranky about this when they published the Pentagon Papers!
