I'm not in the army, so I don't have to obey Captain's orders. If you're not within the executive branch, you don't have to follow any presidential executive order. Respect the limits of the chain of command.
The problem is with your boss, who may be required to follow an executive order if they're dealing with DoD, DHS, FBI, etc.
Or, in the near future, when the executive order is for police to apprehend people who don't comply, you must obey under color of law, which is unethical and probably illegal, yet still might land you in prison for a while.
I'm a full time employee, but the employer is a giant multinational which probably has various federal contracts. Fun fact they ran camps back in WWII. Filing exemption paperwork tomorrow f* em idgaf anymore.
