US Lawmakers seek federal grand jury investigation for COVID-19 statistical manipulation: The CDC adopted a "double-standard exclusively for COVID-19 data collection" that inflated cases and deaths starting early in the pandemic, violating multiple federal laws and distorting mitigation policies (justthenews.com)

The fact that it took Oregon Republicans raising this issue, and not Florida/Texas Republicans, surprises me. Was everyone just going along with the CDC data and assuming the numbers were accurate in the red states?

As per-usual, we have to parse data to understand the issue. That takes time and man hours. Then, once the data starts showing discrepancies, that is when it's time to make the move. Otherwise, without proper course, everyone gets to be called things to discredit them. --Never jump the gun without checking the safety

However, when the data discredits those pumping the data, that's when you move, and move with equal or greater force.

Heck, they could have paid me, I knew there was something fishy going on as soon as Dr. Birx said (in March 2020):

So, I think in this country we've taken a very liberal approach to mortality. There are other countries that if you had a preexisting condition and let's say the virus caused you to go to the ICU and then have a heart or kidney problem some countries are recording as a heart issue or a kidney issue and not a COVID-19 death. Right now we are still recording it… if someone dies with COVID-19 we are counting that as a COVID-19 death.

The red flag was there and out in the open from the start. Everyone here was joking about this saying motorcycle deaths are being counted as Covid deaths. It’s not like this was a huge secret.
