If you read the Bible from a literary perspective of ancient history, the descriptions of behemoth and leviathan in the book of Job are equally odd. Dude is describing animals that sound remarkably like dinosaurs in a text written over 3K years ago. Also, a fun rabbit hole is reading up on dragons in many ancient cultural traditions.

Of course, there are alternate theories within the religious text world to explain oddities like these away, but its fun to think about either way.
