I live within 100 miles of he border in VA outside of DC. Never been outside of the United States nor do I have a passport yet I have no rights because I could be smuggling something in from another country.
Now don't get me wrong. I don't believe what I am about to say, but to illistrate how ridiculous that is I have no absolute proof any other countries except the US even exist. I have never seen any other landmass than the one I am on and only see an ocean as far as the eye can see and I am told about these other places and shown picture but it isn't out of the realm of possibilities that its all an illusion created for some sinister or maybe a fucking TV show like in he Truman show or I am in a simulation that isn't programmed o render anything past a certain virtual replica of the United Sates where my particular storyline will go.
But bottom line is if our constitutional rights are not applicable in certain areas then we have no constitutional rights anywhere. Which sadly has always been the case and always will be. It is hard to accept this and takes quite a long time to accept and most never even consider let alone accept he fact that out entire history is a lie, from the fairy tale about Columbus wanting to prove the earth was not flat (this was well know for years before Columbus all over the world) and was looking for a trade route to India when in fact Columbus came here in search of gold and slaves but when he wasn't able to obtain enough of either to impress the royals or even pay the back for funding his voyages he became arguably the most successful perpetrator of genocide in the history of man.
I am not sure how kids are taught these days about Columbus but in my day he was a hero and "In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue" is still burned into my head from the poem and then childrens song written about him:

In 2007 a Native American woman wrote a far more accurate version:

It has been 529 years and Columbus day is still a federal holiday in America. One of only 12 such holidays observed and one of only 3 observed in honor of a specific individual. Washington and MLK Jr.s birthdays being the other 2. Washington was the original terrorist who betrayed the ruling British Empire of which he as a subject and also a lifelong slaveholder who inherited his first 10 at age 11 with the passing of his father, and at the time of his death 317 slaves worked Mt. Vernon, but only 110 were his and the rest he managed but were owned by other people according everywhere I have read as if that means a god damned thing. I cannot find any estimates as to how many he owned in between, but officially at least 120 were his "property" and another 207 he "managed". That's right. He was their manager. I am sure that is how the slaves saw him. Well 207 of them, the other 120 probably knew they were his property and he was their master. George Washington also ordered the murder of many Native Americans and there is much more to be written there, but this comment has gotten out of hand and I could go on forever. Just 2 more quick points
It has been 222 years since Washington's death and not only does he still have 1 of 3 federal holidays that honor an individual Our Nation's Capital is named after him FFS!! The Washington Redskins only had to change the Redskin part of their offensive name and nobody says a word about the Washington part.
MLK Jr who promoted non violent action against his oppressors and gave the "I have a dream" speech at the March on Washington was then surveilled by the FBI who harrassed and attempted to discredit him all the way up until his assassination that the FBI had no idea about despite the constant surveillance by the FBI under the personal orders of J. Edgar Hoover and bottomless budget to do so. And totally didn't either take a blind eye to or actually perpetuate the assassination.
So given all that...If I am considered a terrorist by the likes of these people I take no offense and would be ashamed to be called anything else.
Happy Columbus day folks!
