This tentacled thing looks identical to something I found on an antiques website.

EONS: Z22 MICROSCOPIC HYDRA IN SHOWY MADAGASCAR AMBER (COPAL) DESCRIPTION: This amber specimen (technically it is copal which is an unfamiliar term to most people) features a rich collection of insects and larva, most of which are covered with tiny bubbles. But as I was cruising around the specimen with my microscope I was flabbergasted to find what appears to be a baby 6-armed hydra in it. Hydra are tiny multi-tentacle animals that live in fresh water. I've never heard of them being found in amber and unfortunately a Google search wasn't helpful because the term "Hydra" applies to so many other things. Compare these three images from the internet with mine below, and make your own decision: This one is reproducing asexually by "budding" it's offspring from its body: I remind bidders that I have a 30-day refund policy. Please ignore the lint and my fingerprints.
