I agree that the science can be politicized -- just look at the jabs. I'm just saying that what agencies around the world are doing is sampling some of the positive tests and doing full genetic sequencing and releasing the information. It's probably the least political aspect of the Covid information, because changing the values accomplishes nothing, and the values can be cross-checked with other labs and countries.
