Assuming this is a serious post, you should first invest in some shelf stable food, good tools, flashlights and batteries. Maybe a solar USB charger and make sure your phones or tablets are loaded with books...or get actual books.
Learning how to use this shit when you need it isn't of any help, so if you're serious, you need to make some weekend or night excursions to make sure you understand your kit and how to make camp safely. I don't know where you are, but you should think about seasonal preparedness as well. Camping in 40 below won't inconvenience you for very long. You're not living off crops you plant any time soon.
