The reality national/federal governments are trying to hide is that they are obsolete. The don't "know better" than the average citizen , their decision making is always laughable and the very idea that we still need representatives in the age of the internet is retarded.

They got away with Nazi Germany, Communist China and the Khmer Rouge of course!
