Facts; We are always going to see a clockwise rotation of the face of the moon, no matter what time of the year, no matter where on earth you are. Kind of like the north pole is the center of this all. And yeah, the rotation we can observe throughout a day is up to 180°. If the moon is visible on the sky for 24 hours you should be able to see it do a full rotation, I guess.
