just thought about it - they faked covid numbers by using statistically insignificant tests and used suspicious counting methods. do you think they are also doing something similar with vaccination numbers, just because they want the normal people think "well, if 60% are already vaccinated and not dropping dead why shouldnt i?"

Yea, they are saying it's 60%, but county level surveys that are aggregated show it's more like 30-40%
That would make a lot of sense. I'm in a weekly intention group that meets online and I was afraid to mention my vax status, but it needed to be done because I wanted to have us focus on my exemption status, so that I won't lose my job.
I was really afraid to mention it - this style of group is typically pretty left leaning and although I know the media is lying about so called anti-vaxxers all being conservative, I was still worried. Turns out most of the group has not taken it and will not. Some have even joined activist groups around medical freedoms, which gave me groups to look into joining. That really made me think the numbers the media is touting have to be exaggerated.
I always hope people don't fall for the "most people are doing it" and "people like you..." but I know that's probably too much to hope for.
