The gospel is the good news, that God is not angry at us anymore, that God has forgiven our sin. Before you are given the holy Spirit, God will test your faith though, to see that you actually believe in the word of God, or if you are only paying lip service. I can not judge if someones faith is true our not, I leave that to God to decide, he is the one that knows our hearts. I do know the fruits that is coming out of peoples mouth, so a Christian should be able to see if the holy Spirit is working in someone or not.

So if there is part of the word that you reject, then you also reject the blood sacrifice made by Jesus. I can not stress this enough, earth is a footestoole.
