Isn't it a known fact that you cannot patent nature? If something is natural and comes naturally, you cannot patent it. Otherwise people would patent oxygen, free roaming natural oxygen, and you would have to pay to breathe.
Of course the genes must be synthesized. You cannot patent anything natural, occurring in nature, period. Please prove that wrong....
Sensationalistic title, but, explain how nature can be patented....
IMO for now, too lazy this morning to grab links to articles etc. I'll admit I'm wrong, but you have to prove your point.
