It's jacking up the rental prices insanely here. Rental properties need to get their money from somewhere. It's now 500$+ more a month to rent at places I priced a year ago. I haven't looked in a few weeks so it might be more. My complex uses covid as the excuse to not maintain stuff and now I can't afford to move.
The Supreme Court already ruled extending it past July 31st would require Congressional Law.
The Sixth District Court covering Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan also ruled that the CDC lacks the authority to implement such a thing as an eviction moratorium.
