Hardly anyone, infact probably only antivaxxers knew about the VAERS system before covid. They used to say only one percent of reactions were reported to VAERS, but now that the covid vaccines are here and have so much attention on them obviously more.people are going to connect their injury with the vaxx and will more likely report that.
I had adverse reactions to vaccines as a child and they were never reported. Most of the te are n the past people would not even realise that the shot that was happening to them was from a vaccine.
There is still denial about that sort of thing with some people, but definitely, more people are making the connection and reporting the incidences.
At this point I would not say the new vaccines are any worse or better than the old ones.
