That's really terrible...I'm sorry. If you have no other outs, no one could blame you. I'd be curious to know what legal thoughts yours or other companies have given this...are they really in a position to argue employment contingent on medical treatment in court? If I read correctly, you aren't even in a job where there might be some justification (nursing home, etc.)
