I would assume that is faith that gives you the confidence right?
Everyone puts their faith in something. It's just up to whether that person recognizes it or not. For some that's "trusting the science", despite a reproducibility crisis. For others that's trusting a politician, despite their failures. We can't escape it. We're finite beings. You can though discern enough to put it in better (the best being God) or worse (the worst being satan) things.
Why is this even a concern what these people do? Why judge people doing what they can to get by when you already know the how this all ends? Why the judgement?
Because there is a right and a wrong. There is a good and an evil. Because we've still lives to live here, and because if we're believers, we're each given jobs.
We are talking about like minded people here who do not "trust the science" or any politician which is why they are not getting the vax and needing the fake papers in the first place. Is printing out fake papers in order to live the same as denouncing Jesus? I don't understand your logic here unless you are suggesting that a fake vaccine paper is the equivalent of taking the mark of the beast or something in which case I think we are pretty far apart on this one.

Because lost souls are going to hell without the gospel of Jesus Christ, and in the mean time they can avoid it.
