This was an incredible read. Disturbing, yet not surprising. Enlightening, in fact. I participated under a different name over there for years. I was never incredibly active or known, but I did put some things together and made posts of OC that occasionally were highly viewed and interacted with. I noticed the same shills, and while your efforts to curtail them were certainly heroic, their proliferation throughout the site led me and many others, as you pointed out, to grow increasingly disillusioned with the site and, eventually, leave permanently, in search of the proverbial greener grass. It appears as though we have found it, for the time being at least. It’s good to see you back. I would tell you my previous username, but as I posted on Reddit for many years, before the days of rampant shills, doxxing, etc, coupled with the communities and posts I have made using this account, it would be in the interest of my own self preservation in current circumstances to refrain from doing so. Nonetheless, I will gladly look to this community among the others I frequent, and look forward to bringing back a bit of the old “magic” that we used to enjoy in simpler times. You are a true testament to what those communities used to stand for, and for that, you have my gratitude.
