Back alley abortions referred to women going into their doctor’s practice by way of the back door to save face and privacy. Abortions were NOT performed in the alley. Doctors today like the one we see here, that perform abortions rarely have hospital privileges. Some are minutes from having their licenses revoked. Regardless of anyone’s stance on abortion, the fact we cannot have an honest discussion about the quality of doctor these women in a challenging and vulnerable time are reduced to is disgusting and reveals this is not about some pithy ‘right’.
