I went through this 34 years ago when I lived in Baltimore… They were truly everywhere. And I mean they covered fucking everything for weeks. Every surface outside was covered. Our deck was completely covered with cicadas. There was nowhere to walk without stepping on them.I had to walk to work to the bus stop and before you got on the bus, even though it was next to impossible, you had to shake off as many cicadas they got everywhere, I remember they were attached to the underside of my skirt, you had to pick them off. We all just kind of dealt with it until they finally all flew off fairly suddenly. But yeah, for weeks you couldn’t do anything outside, Because not only did they cover everything, but they flew around and constantly hit you because they’re that fucking retarded. It sucked.

The Chive just had a gallery today on it actually. Looked like most of the posts were from Maryland

Aren't there like 12 broods of 17-year cicadas, and a few of the 13-year type.
Pretty much every summer or so where I've lived I hear cicadas.
Msm just likes the occult imagery and general fear porn.
