A maimed man will be remorseful, may speak out, may sue, may seek compensation.

Many years ago one of them acually told me, the surgery was a success but the patient died.

Pain may persuade them. Pain is a good teacher.
If they could feel, they would sense that this is a scam. Mothers would know better than to mask their 1 year olds, innate sense of nurturing, etc.
These are genuine zoombies, apparently.
