I've been overtly opposed to the so-called ransomeware hack by Darkside, calling bullshit. I'm a transit pipeline inspector. Remote, electronic monitoring is one thing, but manual control exists at these stations.
I've been listening to other pipeline workers talk and make the same exact points as I have. There are far too many people involved in this industry that are rolling their eyes or scratching their heads.
And now we have the Colonial Pipeline that's shut down due to "hackers."
Yes, because transit pipeline requires Windows to operate..."Ransomeware" is to blame.
