I had the same thought; this is external comms to the DS that she's still one of them and was likely self-inflicted expressly for that purpose. Why would these photos ever even get out of the prison/LE system if not for comms.

This is a sign to those watching that she is still in compliance. She is not giving out names. She gave the black eye to herself.
