Once I hear "Galactic Federation", I'm 90% out.
Respectfully, no one is coming to save us from ourselves.
Any higher species would view us as children who have made a huge mess - and they would understand that WE have to clean it up on our own.
If we see justice, and make some massive changes on our own, and THEN (lets say 5 years later) the so-called GF shows up, fine.
They show up in the middle of us trying to reclaim ourselves and our world, that's a big nope.
