"Football season is over."
An excerpt from Art Bell's 2003 interview with John Lear.
Bell: An interesting question. One that I would have made it to anyway. But please ask John if Lazar ever mentioned the word containers to him. Lazar read about containers in the briefing papers. So the military knows about this as well. Containers. Ask about the containers. This means everything. And I guess maybe it does.
Lear: What is the question?
Bell: Well, whether Bob Lazar had ever mentioned that word containers to you?
Lear: Oh absolutely. Yeah, the sixty five external corrections. And that the aliens referred to us as containers. And that was in the briefing. Now remember, when he went to work there everyday he would be taken into this room and he said there was, you know, a hundred or so briefings in small packets, you know, each one was stapled, and it had, you know, maybe ten or fifteen pages. And a number of pages would be stapled together in the back, in other words his clearance hadnt progressed to the point where he could read the whole briefing, but he could read a little bit of it.
Bell: Well this must be the core, it might be the core issue that drives everything, that is, who we are. I mean all of these different alien races interested in us, now you know, we're something, but we're, but it doesnt seem like we're that much, unless we have, unless our souls have value.
Lear: Well, if I havent made it clear, we are an experiment, we're their experiment, and its been going on for, you know, hundreds of thousands of years. And the experiment is with the soul.
Bell: Well we're their experiment, but yet we have souls, I dunno, John.
Lear: Souls are real they go on forever and ever, theyre recycled, and many many many past lifetimes. But for some reason we're not allowed to remember those. We cant profit from, you know, previous lifetimes. Now, every once in a while theres a short circuit and people do remember very clearly lifetimes that happened 499 years ago. They can go back to england, they can trace names, they can give you names, people in the cemetary, who they were there, you know, the whole thing. So theres no doubt about the soul goes on forever and ever.
Bell: But it must be at the core of all the interest. I mean the big question is, why are they so damn interested in us that they would dissect us, mutilate us? I mean you say the people doing the experiment, what about the word god? I mean are they, if they created us, if we are their experiment, then to us they would be our god. Very disturbing concept.
Lear: Absolutely.
Bell: Or do you hold out that there would be, I mean you said absolutely, do you hold out there would be a god separate from?
Lear: No, no thats opinion, theres not anybody else, theres just them. Now I'm gonna get a lot of flak over that. But in fact, you know, thats the story.
Bell: Well thats the story that never can be told, right?
Lear: Thats right. And thats why they cant let the little, the first thing out because its all gonna lead up to them.
"the aliens presented the concept of the earth as a cosmic zoo.
Such indoctrination serves to reduce our concepts of human sovereignty, as well as to bind us to them in a subservient position, as a possession. While some people accept this relationship as fact and thus allow that the aliens can legitimately do with us what they please, there are others of us who feel we possess an inherent sovereignty and right to exist without interference, no matter what our genesis. Their claims to be our creators have never been more than mere claims, anyway."
