I have seen this exact same thing done dozens of times over the last few years. A throwaway account on reddit says something controversial, then Fox "reports" on it. Total trash.
Fox News has ran a number of Reddit “stories” and passed them as actual news. Nothing Is even attempted to be verified, they are literally quoting anonymous internet posters as truth.
Wedding “mishaps” seem to be Fox favorite topic and Friday afternoons is when they show up.
If you think fox is better than CNN, this should be a solid wake up call. They are the same propaganda if not worse.
Makes me think that if they are completely willing to throw away all journalistic integrity over a fluff piece, how bad is it with things that actually matter?
It's the best when they quote users with ridiculous screen names.. "Reddit user 'SlapsPooponClown' generated a lot of buzz today over his insight on the 2020 election"
That kind of shit is why I quit Fox News long ago, before I even cared about political bias or their "controlled opposition" narrative. It's fake infotainment.
Fox News should change their name to fox entertainment. They have zero journalistic integrity but they can be entertaining to watch/read.

Dad spends money HE saved on himself. End of story.
It doesn't matter what the story is about, I don't think it even happened. It's just a fake account creating fake news.

That’s exactly what I thought when I was a CNN and MSNBC viewer in 2014.
If you’re gonna lie about things that doesn’t matter, how could I ever trust the things that do.
Almost sounds like a corollary to the Gell-Mann effect.

I'm waiting for RimjobSteve to get his 15 minutes of fame.
Reddit opinions is News ? Fox is trash.
Yes, it would be nice if there was a way to say that in just one word and not use a double negative. Wouldn't you agree?
You're not wrong.
Oh god, don't let her dip-shittery infect another industry.
it's almost like nancy pelosi's wrap up smear
FBI leaks info to news
