Lyme disease is a bioweapon that’s nearly impossible to cure.

The coinfections are worse if not just as bad.

This article spreads several false claims including that the tick must be attached for 36 hours to transmit a disease. That’s a lie. If you’re bitten odds are you’ve been infected with bacteria and viruses. It can be nearly instant once the skins been broken.

Control: Effective application strategy: 2+ direct hits, rotate different formulas to overcome Pesticide Resistance, rotate different formats to prevent Behavioral Resistance. Chemical duration time average: hours, days. Cypermethrin/Permethrin are high toxicity specifically to Cats. If you have felines, RTU default to Bifenthrin, Carbaryl, Cyhalothrin, and/or Deltamethrin, for yard treatments, concentrate on ground cover and shrubbery, avoid flowers. Use Organic Vapor (OV) respiration filtration.

Repel: Picaridin is very low toxicity to Humans, use for clothing, furniture, and gear. Minimum 20% Picaridin concentration for effectiveness against Tick

I've lived in a hole in the woods for the last 20 years. Haven't seen anything unusual.

Less birds from mobilephones and loss of habitat cause more ticks.

Mobile phones and masts are responsible for huge declines in birds, bees, bats, insects and many other animals that rely on migration. Many other factors also contribute to increasing animal declines like massive losses of habitat from increasing urbanization, roads, agriculture, pesticides, livestock, and pets.

Insects do increase in warmer weather, but without birds to keep them in check and other insects and mammals in the food chain it creates problems. Like the plague of locusts in Africa and Asia a direct result of rapidly increasing agriculture pushing all other wildlife away, birds, other insects, and mammals. Or increasing ticks. Or mosquitoes. Rather than climate change. It is because of human activity, causing a much bigger imbalance in the ecosystem, and food chains.

Although warm weather can cause an increase in certain species, however nature normally corrects itself.

School should invest in Runner Ducks. Let them run free after school to eat up all the ticks. Betcha that will solve their stupid tick problem.

Insect repellent. Much like masks, I'm sure that it's healthy to apply insect repellent to your kids everyday /s
