Sure, there was the social isolation order, but everyone has the choice to respond however they want. Perhaps you'd be arrested or fined, but you still got to make the choice.
While we're conscious, our every action or behavior is a conscious choice. We often think unwanted consequences for one of our options means we have no choice, but we DO get to make that choice. Being able to choose our course of action doesn't mean we get to choose between two wonderful outcomes.
I dunno about being better off than you. I've seen up to 98% of people outside here wearing the muzzle, and you can't go into any place or business without it unless you want a major incident. I've worn it a few times, like to go to the post office, and to enter a hospital for surgery. Otherwise order my food online and have it delivered. I don't associate with the maskers.
