I agree, and also thought this to be unbelievable until I just got over my cognitive dissonance. Charlie Freak confirmed what my better half was trying to tell me for some time. Earth is on the level, and flat with a firmament. The gravity argument doesn’t work if u think density..

So if I swim to the bottom of the pool and collect a gallon of water will it be more dense than a gallon at the top? You should be able to weigh that if it's true.

So then I don't understand your theory on why there is more water pressure the deeper you go if that's not caused by gravity.

What????

1 cubic foot of water weighs about 62 pounds

The deeper you go the more fucking water is crushing you

Apparently, an encyclopedia britanica from 1958 doesn't agree that the earth is a globe. That's just 63 years ago, and from an encyclopedia.

But but 2200 years ago some Greek proved something and that was the last time..... s/

yes.. by shadows from Eratosthenes... Flatards cant come up with an explanation for shadows yet the greeks 2000 years ago had no trouble.

Hilarious.. I'm starting to think these flat earthers have flat foreheads and frontal lobes like neanderthals which makes them incapabable of understanding the simplest of things.

RIP.

Flatards jumping the gun again triggered by keywords such as "flat" "dome" "gravity"

The so called dome was reffering to the ice sheet that was elevated above sea level.

Can you come up with any other possible reasons for this old Greeks findings? Can we test other theories or are we that blind?

Can you explain why we can't see 2 distant peaks far away if we were both on them shining a laser at each other etc?

I think if an expedition to Antarctica did reveal a giant, 13,000 foot glass dome, the encyclopedia would make it more than a bit of a footnote.

It seems that when you people cannot defend your beliefs against respectful comments you just downvote. That's a good sign that you are brainwashed to believe something that simply isn't true.

If what you believe is true then you should be able to explain why it's true with logic and reason and refute arguments about easily observable data that contradicts your theory.

If not then you basically are in a religion. That's fine but it's not a conspiracy. The only conspiracy you should consider is WHO wanted you to believe this religion.

Dummy statement 1: "That's a good sign that you are brainwashed to believe something that simply isn't true." Dummy statement 2: "If not then you basically are in a religion. That's fine but it's not a conspiracy. The only conspiracy you should consider is WHO wanted you to believe this religion."

So, I conclude that you are... to put it lightly... not a smart person. Also, a hypocrite since you believe that people are brainwashed but other's beliefs makes it a religion (wow...). Also, you speak of "easily observable data that contradicts your theory." and yet you give nothing. :D

Dummy statement 3: "If what you believe is true then you should be able to explain why it's true with logic and reason and refute arguments about easily observable data that contradicts your theory."

And yet, dummy never tries to provide any evidence of his claims. :D All my posts are FACTS, what are you doing, Dave? Do you know you convert Oxygen into Carbon Dioxide? It's like magic in comparison to your brain functions. I mean function.

Sorry, hypocritical dummy. I am trying to share some good information with intelligent people, so I don't have time for your nonsense, no offense.

If the earth is spinning, wouldn’t it be faster to fly east than west. Pilots don’t correct for curvature. Shouldn’t a hot air balloon be able to go up and wait for the earth to turn in about 12 hours be on the opposite side of the earth? Here is a thought. The sun and moon are the same size. Why do I believe this? Charlie Freak. Hear him speak..

Somewhat related question: If the Earth was flat, wouldn't everyone in the whole world be able to see the sun 24/7?

It's a matter of perspective. If you see railroad lines - they converge at the end.

They don't really converge at the end.

Coming from the "TallestSkil"... obviously your skill is not intelligence. (And yes, this is how to correctly spell it.)

How much they pay you to shill in here? Showing 0 proof of your words and straight anger... :D So pathetic...

Seriously, Dome meant the highest point from sea level.

That is the altitude at 80 degrees south 90 degrees east. It's not hollow below it. Lol. That's like saying Denver is a dome of 5,000 feet thinking it's glass above Denver.
