The moon does not orbit the globe. The moon and sun are the same size. The moon is not a sphere, if it were it would not reflect light evenly across it's surface, it would be brighter in the middle. So fuck off..

The ISS is about 280 miles above the earth. It uses thrusters to keep it on its trajectory, lest earths gravity drags it back to earth in a burnt heap. It is not in "space".
