As much as I dislike George Lucas and his Jedis, there is one thing about the Jedi I think is accurate, and that is that the Dark Side can be both attractive, and impossible to escape once you embrace it.
I try to be very careful to avoid hate. I have plenty of spirit. I don't need more spirit, which might be available to me from hate. Because hate, for me, is like battery acid.
I try to be more the "Now go in peace, to fvck off out of my sight." sort of person. And on a good day it is instead "... to love and serve the Lord."
