A donation fund is set up for shootings in Colorado.

This event was probably staged to also help refill that funds coffers. No shootings due to covid means no donations coming in, but money going out for covid relief.

Most recently, the fund has been used to provide restaurant-prepared meals to hospitals treating COVID-19 patients, but is typically designated for support for “victim assistance organizations to meet immediate and long-term financial needs not met otherwise.”
